Tech Teacher Leaders is a PD-inservice opportunity for educators to develop technology integration skills for the classroom and professional productivity.  Topics are based on the feedback from our annual Tech Survey as well as current trends/needs in technology.

Face to face sessions will run from 3:30-5:00pm.  Follow-up assignments (psst, that's homework!) for each class will take approximately 1 hour.

The rewards are mostly intrinsic (this is the world your students are living in), but if you need inservice time 3 sessions equal a full inservice day.

Other "rewards" that various administrators have mentioned:

    -Relicensing credit

    -Expectation within teacher evaluation

-Priority for equipment and/or grant opportunities

-Get to "show off" at staff meetings

    -Certificate of recognition from administration

-Winning time with me - actually, and seriously, I will offer a "techie in residence" where I will stay in 1 school for 3-5 days and actually spend some time in classrooms (if that's what they want of my time).  This would NOT mean I wouldn't support this school or other schools as usual, it just means that I would dedicate this block of time to focus on 1 school.  Probably would happen in April or May, and would be based on highest percentage of teachers attending TTL sessions from your school.

**There are many fully qualified leaders already among us, if you are one and would like to share your skills by facilitating one -or more- of these sessions PLEASE let me know ASAP.

What a great space to keep track of the tech trainings, contents and notes. Also a space accessible, any place, anytime (if you happen to be on the grid)
